We did fire writing!
We dipped a paintbrush into sodium nitrate and used it to draw or write stuff on filter paper. Then, using a glowing splint, we put its tip onto a spot with sodium nitrate and then the shape started burning off! (: I wrote my chinese name and I drew a horsey! Which turned out to be quite screwed. But Mrs Lim kept calling my name and asking me to show the class. SO MALU OMG!? She called my name like 4 or 5 times throughout class EUAGHHHH

Well the story is based on Jane Austen's book which also has the same title. We watched it as part of the Woman's Voice option. This time, I enjoyed the movie and it was quite humourous too.
The story is about this young lady in her 20s, Fanny Price, who was sent away from home when she was young to live with the Bertrams in Mansfield Park as a helper. Maria and Julia Bertram are block-headed twerps and Edmund Bertram is so super shuai and nice! As Fanny grows up she grows to love Edmund. But doesn't tell him of course.
Then one day family friends Mary and Henry Crawford come to stay in Mansfield. Henry is also shuai as well! :D Then then then he is very flirty. And flirts with Maria who is quite argleee. o.- Then later he changes his mind and woos Fanny, 'cause Maria gets married to this argleee fat-so called Mr
But then Fanny knows he's this bigass flirt and so she rejects him! Anyway she likes Edmund. But then but then Edmund has taken an interest in Mary Crawford!!! Who appeared a bit lesbian at first but turned out to be normal later o.o
Because she rejected Henry, the man of the house (forgot his name) gets so pissed and Fanny decides to go back to her hometown, Portsmouth. THEN Henry was so cute lah, he came all the way to her hometown to chase her! And he did a lot of crazy things just to please her. (GOOOOD MORNINGGGGGGG)
But then Fanny still rejects him and he becomes really super pissed and goes back to Mansfield. And shortly after, Edmund comes back 'cause his brother, Tom (who happens to remind me of LOGAN ooooh) is really sick and needs a helper. So Fanny goes back!
Then one night Fanny hears some loud noises outisde her room and thinks it's Tom coughing. So she goes outside and LO AND BEHOLD; Maria and Henry are like
So Fanny is really super disgusted and proves to the man of the house (still can't remember his name) that Henry is indeed some stupid flirt lor. Yuckss. Soon after the news leaks out into the papers.
Then the family gathers for this meeting in the living room and then discuss what to do with Maria 'cause Rushworth left her or something along those lines. Then Mary Crawford, being her clever self, suggested that they use Tom's money after he dies to organize some party so that Maria can be re-introduced into society again. But the thing is, TOM ISN'T EVEN DEAD YET.
So Edmund is super disgusted and shocked and tells Mary off in this really cool way. I also felt like slapping her lah. LOGANNN ): Anyway, Maria was like sent away to live with someone else lah. And the Crawfords left too! And they got married to some other people. Being their amoral selves, their spouses were also the same type lah. Flirt and all. But who cares! Haha that scene was really funny; their spouses were seated side-by-side at a table, while the Crawfords stood beside their respective spouses. Then the non-Crawfords looked at each other and started giggling. O.O! screwed up man.
THENN some time later, maybe months, Edmund declares his love for Fanny! And apologizes for his blindness in liking the stupid Mary Crawford. Yesyes(:

A parrot owner was alerted to his girlfriend's infidelity when his talkative pet let the cat out of the bag by squawking "I love you Gary".
Suzy Collins had been meeting ex-work colleague "Gary" for four months in the Leeds flat she shared with her partner Chris Taylor, according to reports.
Mr Taylor apparently became suspicious after Ziggy croaked "Hiya Gary" when Ms Collins answered her mobile phone.
The parrot also made smooching sounds whenever the name Gary was said on TV.

anyway, im here to blog about cairns(: at the australia coast (from Dec 1 to 5)
DAY ONE
took plane with dad! australian airlines. hee. nice change from MAS -.- seats so squashy. the aussies are funky! they have live demonstrations of the safety thing instead of having it only on screen. haha so funny. meals werent bad, BUT THE MIXED VEGGIES CURRY RAN OUT. :( so had to go with chicken.
DAY TWO
reached down under at 4 plus. ate at mac's. haha. first taste of expensive australian junk food -.- took bus to RAILWAY STATION ! got on carriage 14 (: my dad and i had the whole two rows to ourselves,
until the stupid tour guide, X, came along. her first time in cairns too -.- how nice. and she was like koping the window seats larh. so after waiting a long time, she got up to take some pictures and i quickly went to chope the seat. hee. saw loads of nice scenery like the barron falls, barron gorge, and cairns city as well. (: went through about 15 tunnels too. when we reached the kuranda railway, we went for the army duck tour through the rainforest at the rainforestation! amphibious machine used during ww2. our guide steve was super funny. haha. we also went to see the aborigines throw boomerangs and spears. i threw a boomerang. and i must say, i throw de very zai ^^ mine came back in the right way ! haha (: watched this paramiggi show in which the aborigines imitated the animals eg emu, kangaroo, snake on stage (: danced to live music with didgeridoo and this klok klok thing. later we went looking around the heritage markets and shops. they were selling kangaroo and koala skins and leather. eee ): and other stuff larh. I WANTED TO BUY A DIDGERIDOO :(
after some time, we took the bus down to cairns again ! i got carsick -PLEAGHDIWUFHAWG (sound of vomiting) haha no lah. but the bus driver was crazyy.
GOT TO THE HOTEL. SHIOK LAH. (: rydges esplanade. washed up. went to the night markets area for chinx food ! haha. not bad lah.
went to the real night market and we got my dad swim pants for the next day!
DAY THREE
took the bus to reef fleet terminal to go to MOORE REEF. there are tons of reefs in the gbr. great barrier reef. haha. and 7000 beaches in australia! anyway, i got seasick -PLEAGHDIWUFHAWG but never vomit either. ok feeling lame. but seriously, the boat was wobbly. erm the double hull type. quite big. reached the reef ! we had buffet lunch. cold dishes and hot dishes. prawn, salad, curry, chicken(or pork, cant rmb), LASAGNA !!! (x oh yah. a lot of people also started snorkelling from the pontoon outside so there were like naked ang mohs and CHINA MEN walking in and out to eat too. ew. half-naked lar.
after a while, i went snorkelling ! my dad watched. haha it was scary at first. :i found myself tasting lots of salt water yuck -.- can cook kiam cai. and i swam into a shoal of fishies ! medium sized one. haha scary at first. i think i screamed in the water. heng ah, lucky noone heard i think. later i went for the guided snorkelling tour with this aussie bloke. (see im speaking sutralian language, funky ehh). whalao so dao mei, X also joined. she was like swimming all over and kicking everyone. she kicked me with her stupid flipper in the head pls ~.o soo. i started kicking like mad when she was behind me. HAHA. ok im mean. my dad went SEAWALKING. which is putting on a helmet and walking on the platform under the sea! he got to feed the fishies. i took loads of pictures and videos. haha.
later on my dad and i went to the night markets to look around and ate chinx food ! at the food court. whalao super ex lah. they have this funky system that is good for kiasu ppl like me. buy a container of a specific size (quite ex though) 8 A$ for a small container. but you can fill it as full as you want from the different foods at the counter. so i filled it until veryveryvery full. xD my dad and i got strategy one.
DAY FOUR
woke up at 3.15 for hot air ballooning. actually only needed to wake at 3.45 but of course X was a wjdhwucnturoyqhdhjaj so miscommunication mah. but i was ok lah. cos slept quite early. we went to mareeba ! the farming fields there. watched the hot air balloons being set up! it was super cool. went on a balloon chase during the first flight, cos we were the second batch to get on. then finally our turn ! took a trailer to the landing spot. we got on one by one cos they needed to balance the weight. one person go in, one person go out. then we ascended ! im afraid of heights but i felt ok. very smooth! took videos and pictures. saw gliders and horses and cows. (: it was very hot. we had a crash landing. sort of. it was super rough and the basket almost tipped over xD but it was fun! ltr when we were in the bus going back, we stopped by near this balloon that got stuck in some trees O_O next to an ostrich farm. the ostriches looked distressed!
later, my dad and i went on the optional tour for ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES. went to the bottom of a mountain which was the horses cum atv ranch. after some safety talk by the instructors Idaki and Yoshi (noya. haha), we got on the ATVs. the first thing i did 10 seconds into my first ride was crash into a tree. i forgot there were brakes. haha i was the youngest rider k ! >< the others all got experience one. at first i kept getting stuck at slopes. cos Idaki said dont press the accelerator above a certain limit. so i didnt. so i couldnt go up the slope. but then i realised i needed to press it harder to go up the slope -.- after that, i became the most reckless driver. i accelerated until almost crash into stuff. and the rest were lagging behind hee. (: FUN !
DAY FIVE
went to the beach next to the hotel with my dad. we saw so many aircraft (helicopters, small/big planes, private planes) taking off and land cos we were near the airport. thre were seagulls and pelicans too (: and a fisherman. haha.
TOOK THE PLANE BACK HOME ! (: CAIRNS IS NICE.

whoa i think the highlight of the camp for me, was the NIGHT SURPRISE. yen and i were in charge of the squash court toilets. at first when we were alking there i was like. hyperventilating. cos i was super freaked out. then when we reached the block (at the tennis court stairs) we TOTALLY FREAKED OUT. like stunned. actually it was only me. TOTALLY PITCH DARK. omg. O_O then dunno why yen started to run. SO I RAN !! to giraffe and alicia. hahaha !!! at the athena gate. (:
then they came with us. we walked all the way to the end of the corridor. and stayed there. cos too scared mah ! the lights still not on. then we called qianling to the rescue! and she switched on the lights. HAHA (X then we all hugged qianling ! after that, giraffe and alicia went back. so yen and i planned everything. budden. WE DIDNT HEAR THE FIRST GROUP COME LAH. so we were damn shocked when we heard them screaming in the middle of the corridor. so we rushed to the back. and switched off the squash court lights ! and they screamed. hahaha (x it was TOTALLY DARK LAH. :D thenn. after that rng and fang and lynette and pris came randomly to help us. (: thankyou!! fang was scary hairy baby dinosaur. yen and i hid at the end of the corridor and scared every single group that passed. whoots. except my group. cos i didnt hear them coming so we had to like run. and i jumped out from the wrong side of the pillar and kinda shocked rng instead. :X yahlah loser lah :( anw i still rmb my mortal's face of TERROR when i scared her group ! her eyes pop out like dunno what. but never scream, dunno why. i think she was too stunned ! haha YAY SUCCESS. our station got about over 25 screams ! kinda sad though, cos the stattions were mixed up. but at least the groups did all 8 stations...

ytd some of us went to acsb to sell psl carn tix! wl, the school is so beeg! anw shuen was my tix pardner! hahas got four shifts, 2 acsp and the rest the sec sch. the pri sch xiao boyboys are so cute and short! hahas first time i felt so tall x)) yayy! they very cute too, keep asking us to look for the head prefect (supposedly very rich) hahas so we tried finding him but couldnt. haiis for tt shift we sold to the parents, mainly. ahahs (:
then for the last few shifts, shuen and i went around trying to get those stingy ppl to buy hahas. but not bad lah.. managed to sell a few -.-" in total we sold 34 tix! bleaghhs. but better than kimmie chong's 18 tix! acsi summore. hahahas.. orh den got this table with some guys, at first dint want. then after that called us back and gave us this kiamcai 10bucks. with 20 cent coins -.-" feel like kicking dem.. summore so many of them and they bought just one ticket.. During the tournaments today, RGS played against Saint. Theresa's Convent. My partner was Wei Zhen. We played 1st doubles, while Sheena played 1st singles, Karen played 2nd singles, Sin Yee played 3rd singles and Grace and Amanda played 2nd doubles. Some of my PSL class' secondary one students came to support us! Thank you very much! I love you all a trillion bits! (: you made the difference. My mother is commenting that my smilies look like a snout. I shall continue... Wei Zhen was sick with the flu today. She told Mrs Teo, but not coach. For our first match we started off quite alright, and then mistakes happened and Wei Zhen got nervous and that made me nervous. Therefore, we lost our first game 13-15. Coach gave us a pep talk and some good tips. She asked us if we were nervous and I said yes, and Wei Zhen said she was sick. Anyway, we executed them and we trashed them 15-3. For our third match, we played well (9-1). Things started going wrong when we changed court and did not take our bottles and towels, and when the stupid umpire offered to help us change shuttlecocks. -.-" The new shuttle went quite fast and we were unable to break its momentum. Therefore we decided to change it again. This time, we played better. It was nerve-wrecking. We ended up having to deuce 3 points. At first the stupid umpire told us to deuce only one point. I thought Wei Zhen asked the umpire to have it at 1 point, so I did not say anything. Amanda was observant and told the stupid umpire that we had the right to choose. So in the end, we won. Thanks Amanda! (:
After the match, coach gave us a talk and told us that we were very blur. She scolded Wei Zhen for not telling her that she was sick, and for having that as an excuse for being nervous or something like that. She also scolded us for being blur, and not noticing the 1-point deuce mistake. As I had said earlier, I had thought Wei Zhen told the umpire to have it as a 1-point deuce. She also told us that we were not into the game as much as we should have, and that I had never been this nervous before. During this time, Wei Zhen coughed at me and a few droplets of her cough landed on my arm. I shall be sick tomorrow. But it is not her fault.

anyway today took over lynette for ccao. in the morning arranged some chairs in ks chee then held placards and stuff. quite nice lah the sec ones. haha. saw my juniors! they all look so prim and proper. but xianning her hair like lion XD and summore look so blurblur ones. ok. thenn i made frens with shi hui, the pit for ccao gp 6! (: she nice leh. gymnast. keep wanting to promote gym. then we gave out the handbks and documents and i am glad to say shi hui and i were SO efficient, that group 6 was the first to be done, and they were the first class to sit down! like wayyy before all the others (: heh.
then we started touring. mixed up the clusters lah. cos shihui was holding the slip of paper and i thot we supposed to go in numerical order! so weird. 1,2,4,5,3? o-o;;

then we went to eat! we ate my mum's roast leg of lamb. shiok lah. like the best thing i ever tasted. other than spaghetti. roast chicken, mash potato, 2 types of salad, and uhhh. some chinese food thing. and garlic breads. the rest i can't remember... ehhh. -feels guilty.
anyway after some time of lazing around and pulling christmas crackers!!!! oh yeah! it was so fun! at the end of it all almost all the relatives were wearing those paper crowns. and we got lotsa cute toys. like a plastic frog that i put on my brother's back and he got all creeped out.
present time! hehee. uncle edmund dressed up as santa!! it was so funny. he's a real skinny guy so he had to put this humongous cushion as his stomach. it kept sticking out. anyways. i didn't want to open my presents until the actual christmas day but my cousins and bro urged me on so yeah. guess whatt. i got a watch from my bro, an olympus cam from mum and dad w tripod stand, a mood swing display calendar thing, schnauzer handphone holder w woof functions, and a baby blues comic strip collection!!! ahhhhh. i went to malacca on monday for a day-trip. we went shopping mad. bought about 1000 ringgit worth of stuff. thats a lot considering lots of stuff are cheap including shoes, clothes, food, and... lets just say, i get to watch national treasure in the comfort of my own tv room? x)
the next day i went to school for dance practice for orientation. learnt one out of four dances. i can remember the dance except for the last bar that i got the steps a little mixed up. hrrms...

after the meal i went to OP. after trying on a lot a lot of stuff, my mum bought me board shorts. its soooooooo nice!!! thanks maa. then we went to join my dad and gramma at the central square there. they were talking. then we went to look at stuff. and other shops like barang barang and this art shop. soon it was time to go for training liaox...
i was the ONLY b div er at training!! the other 8 people were c div!!! allene, xuan wei, joon ting, crystal, charlene, barbara, yingqi and cheryl. haixx. so dao mei. but actually it was alright, just that i was made to train the p6ers. lobbing and dropping. then also made to train the sec ones excluding cheryl x) cos she left early for EATING SPREE x(. and even if she did, she would be training ME. haixx. 40 minutes non-stop training them lehh! BUT bad stuff aside, there was no physical today! aix. but damn jialat lah. no b div ers to practice with. after all c div have to practice with each other mah, then b div have to practice with each other also to train for next year wadds.
after training mum came to fetch me, then when i came home i went for a swim in the pool! we went to orchard instead, and we met at the far east bus stop. then we went to KFC to eat (: i had 2-pc chicken meal. i think thats what it was called. halfway through eating my first piece my ex-SC seniors and junior came, and i started pulling down my hair to cover my face. dunno if they knew it was me, with short hair and stuff. aiyar. i feel mean but its real paiseh lah. :S we ate finish and went into level One. then looked around. and yiwen bought anklet. haha. not my thing. okay. then we went to wisma (wis, geet and yiwen call it. they now have short forms for almost every place in orchard). on the way we passed the mrs field's stall and geetha saw the brownie samples and went to take one. aiz that woman. free stuff then go crazy. hahax. actually me too lahh. at wis, we looked around the shops and i met lesley teoh. haha. from SC. my best friend. yeah she was with her other friends. anyway yeah. then geet and yiwen found it funny to start making fun of me about certain... clothes in the shops. shan't tell why. its embarrassing. then we went to kino (haha. another sf.) cos yiwen wanted to find her jay chou novel. i got dizzy from looking at all the chinese characters so i went to the english dept. i looked at books on wolves, in the zoology dept. some pictures were quite sad. cos the hunters caught the wolves and hanged them up by their tails against their houses. :( damn sad ok. i think i will join a conservation group when i grow up. but definitely NOT nature society. eww. gay lks.
then geet had to leave halfway x( so we went to escort her to the mrt station x) yeah. then we back to wisma. or so we thought. we went the wrong way hahaxx. so we backtracked to the station. then we were approached by this ars e who wanted us to donate to charity by buying tickets. i told a lie. i said we had no money. so he shrugged his shoulders and gave this look "fine. whatever." frick lah. so we went to wis. and then taka. we bought bubble tea there. nice lah, even though i haven't drank it in a long time. lychee blended ice. wen bought milk tea. from there we looked around a bit and then went to hee. heeren. cos wen wanted to relive her jay chou-at-heeren fantasy. cos jay was at the heeren some time back. and she wanted to go HMV to find the first jaychou cd to complete her collection. after scouting around a bit, I found it!!! i made her thank me. ok. im so ego.
we went to look around at the shops lah. we went to sunglass stores cos jay chou supposedly went to one of them. but. quite boring lah. then we found this shop that sold stuff. like those that attract people like us. we bought the same pouches. wen's old one was bursting apart. haha. the one we chose is a bit leathery. mine's brown and wen's is brown-white. whee. then we spent a bit resting while trying to jam yiwen's stuff into the new pouch. she has a lot of things inside lah. i only got hp and wallet. then she has that, plus lip balm, card holder, and nametag... aix. so she ended up putting her card holder into the old pouch.
then we scouted around a bit. we went to para. paragon. and were approached by some idio t again from what... fre-something restaurant. it was then that i discovered wen is a lousy liar x) cos after a while she said "urr. cos we are going to watch a movie later..." x) so in the end i got so fed up i just said, "ehh. no... i think... " then started walking away x) i love myself. yeah. so we sorta got a phobia of these money people. so we started walking more cautiously. like. avoiding them lah. we went to the basement where we looked around and smelt good food. i wanted to have another lunch. we talked about geetha and her brownie-sampling. haha. it was a break from the scary charity people. o-o; then we went back to far east while dodging scary people. like. whenever we see them we start walking in another direction. when we reached far east we decided we were damn tired and went across the road. then we parted from there la. haha.

yesterday was packing day. the psb did packing of the bags for the sec ones. they have nice new stuff but i don't like the bag. its quite strange, but i guess can lah, the sec ones will be excited to get new stuff whether or not its nice or not. we assembled at the foyer and some of us went to the pavillion which was the designated place of assembly. so i went to call the rest of them to come. anyway there we sat for a while, to wait for the rest to come i think, and some of us who didnt go stay/go for the investiture during the camp got our badges! (: its nice and goldish and shiny. alright.
after a while we went to the sewing room. got tons and tons of boxes stacked up at one side. then miss ong started briefing us about whats to be inside. 7 articles in the bag. then carmen sorta gave us instructions and we started. there were various stations where each station was assigned to put in one article in the bag. i was at the first station of taking the bags out of the plastic covering. haha. not easy k. but soon i got used to it and could take them out quite fast lah. whoosh whoosh whoosh. cos got a opening in the plastic bags, so i just pulled them out. ok. after we finished unpacking most of the 400+ bags (i believe we left out one box) i went to help out at the clipping on the clips on the file station. bern was there x) and so was yen lin and about 3 more psls. haha. we crowded up the tiny table. yeah. so we clipping and clipping on the clippies. then we transferred them to the next station by placing them on chairs for the people to take. soon the chairs were decked full and many files started falling down.
yeah. then after we did up all the clips and files, we went on to other stations to help. i did the removing of extra spirals. then after that there were some confusions of the number of bags there were. so some of us spent quite a while getting things fixed. or we tried. haha. but we still ended up about 5 short? haixx. yeah. that's about it... oh.
made ice cream cake with me mam also (: just ate a slice. mmm..
haixx. today has been such a strange day. i started the day all happy and now i'm sad. at 7 o'clock i woek up to go eat chee kueh with my parents at AMK. then after that i tagged along with my gramma and pa to northpoint shopping centre to buy stuff. got a nice top (: then straight after i had a double cheeseburger from macs and rushed home to get my badminton stuff. then i went to school to meet weishan to buy books and show her around. then we met Mr Camel Ong x) and i introduced weishan to him and he asked what cca she's thinking of joining and asked "how about basketball?" and she went, oh, i dunno, i don't think so.. then i said he's in charge of bball. then she went oppps. anyway its because she was previously in bball in sc and she doesnt wanna meet her old teammates. aix.
okay. then i went for badminton practice. it went okay for the first 3/4 of the training. then i was playing the second match partnering sinyee against grace and ml. jl really knows how to put people down. haiyar. too paiseh to write lah. cos its so insulting. but thanks ham for the encouragement and grace for the comfort k. really owe it to you guys.
was cheered up when i went to mamma mia (: omg. it was fantastic. the lights, sounds, music, dance, everything was amazing. just realised that singaporeans are nuts about ABBA. at the encore they got the whole esplanade concert hall clapping along and dancing! i am not joking. they were up on their feet, DANCING. in the CONCERT HALL. O-O; usually conservative businessy people DANCING AND SWAYING TO THE MUSIC. whow. big on abba.
yeah. then after the thing ended, i called daphne to ask her for the results of s.idol. and guess what. sly did NOT win. ): okay. not that i didn't expect taufik to win. just... they were equally matched. at least i think so lah. erghh thinking about it gives me a stomach achey. ):

she's my sec4'05 senior. she's very extroverted. wahax. no one calls her weizhen. its either hamsie (by the rest of the team and some teachers) and hamsup (by me). she and i have a lot of physics/chemistry. on court lah. O-O; okay gross. that was coincidental. that's because we have a secret weapon. =X cannot tell you. wahax.
hamsie's from rosyth. she and daphne have been partners since pri4. and hamsie likes to partner daphne because they have been partners for a priddy long time and want to keep it that way. so she gets disappointed when jl doesn't pair them up. she also keeps saying that she's not good at badminton but we people know the truth.
she loves bao chun lai. i think it is very obvious. she asked macey/karen to get his autograph while the rest of us simply kept our autograph books to save them the trouble (althought later daph's dad came to the rescue!). so in the end she got it.

okay since i have nothing to talk about i shall describe the AVIVA OPEN!! ((((: although it was before the psltc which i wrote about yesterday. bleargh. here goes
meilyn, hams, daph, barbara and i went to the aviva open which was at the singapore indoor stadium. on thursday. er. 181104. mm. yeah so we paid for the tix then entered the main room. guess who we saww RONALD SUSILO! haha. actually if he closes his mouth he doesn't look too bad. we were unprepared cos all our autograph books and cameras were in our bags. so i didn't know what to do, and starting punching daph in her arm. i think he heard meilyn say "my heart stopped beating" ahaha!!! so he turned to look at us. (x
anyway we decided this was the wrong time to take his autograph since we were all jittery. so we went inside the real stadium. MY GAWD. damn cool lah!! this is what star-gazing is all about! got so many countries send their teams over. new zealand, denmark, australia, (us, of cos), m'sia, indonesia, thailand, china, korea, and some more.. forgot liaox. we sat down at the side, behind the china team. the denmark team was there too la. i think it was hamsie's idea cos she wanted to see her baobao x) then daph's dad (one of the team of umpires) came and told us that there were better seats at the front. so we shifted. we were sitting behind the singapore team! aha. karen was there. and vanessa neo. macey came afterwards. we were watching watching.. then decided to move again. back to china there. my old schoolmate jillian (SC) and some of my ex-juniors were there too. lalala. jillian's hair was like an atomic bomb hit it.. damn spiked.. but cool la. she was standing around like watching for the players to come by.
then Fu Hai Feng just ended his doubles game and he lost. So he was sitting around reflecting. i think. yeah. then jillian started shouting Fu Hai Feng! and he responded by walking up to her. so i grabbed all our autograph books and passed to her.. heh. so he signed all our books. and when mine came back, he had signed the middle page. -.-" nevermind. it was my breakthrough autograph! haha. one down, 215 more to go. (was searching on the net yesterday, 216 players came to participate..)
daph's dad helped us to get one autograph. Zhou Mi's one. then some other weirdos came to ask for autographs so when the player came to the edge of the vip's seats tt area and like crowds of people came up. so we did the same x)
yay. so at the end when i had to leave to pack for psltc we had 5,6 autographs? BUT GUESS WHAT
daph and her dad are so nicee!! her dad helped us get tons and tons more autographs. ok. not tons. but A LOT! thanks daph!! have you thanked your dad yet for us or not. hahax. now i have TWENTY EIGHT autographs! including double from zhou mi and zhang ning! i feel like auctioning it off. for $10. my extra one. wheee! x) jjk. Day UNO!
I arrived at school at 8.25 and everyone was in J blk. but of course i didn't know that. so i spent 30 minutes finding them. everyone was playing Simon Says x) Then i got surrounded by some of our SPSLs for the form and moneh. then we drew what our fears, learning points etc of being a PSL are on a butcher sheet. we names ourselves the lame starfish (suet, candice, amanda, kim, sarah (she came later on) and mee) cos our shape was a four-pointed star.
errs. then i think there were some lessons. yeah. on how to handle killer sec ones. (: wheee..
We had some personality test things. im a CS. concrete sequential. that means im a pain in everyone's butt x) so funn! it means that i tell people to get things done. something liddat. bleargh. for the KAV test i am a Kinesthetic! i USED to be a visual o-o; i don't think that test was accurate cos the choices i made -supposed to be the choice i was most comfortable with out of the 3 options- were mostly the shortest sentences and phrases and words. yarr..
oh yeah and a box was passed around with psb people's names inside and we were supposed to do nice things for them everyday for the whole camp.. i took out cheryl t's one.. haha kim and i so qiao got both cheryl SPSLs so we decided to alliance.. haha.. join forces.. to think of nice things to do for themm. k so for the first day we just wrote them letters.. very difficult to do anything else cos they in a seperate room mahh
okay. my memory here is blurred so lets continue to after dinner. OH AND SPEAKING OF WHICH the dinner gave a lot alot of people stomach ache. inclooding me. haha.
we spent 3 over hours trying the figure out the story plot of a story which we had the ending to. the wild board story. we beat out SPSLs, who took overnight last year to solve it :B
i think we had station games after that. at one station we had to bounce balloons in the air within our group and more balloons were added at regular intervals.. at another station we played with waterbombs.
at around 5-6am kim and i went outside the combined classrms and masking-taped this A4 poster on the wall in front of the spsls' room saying "good morning cherylS". whee... very weird la.
DAY DEUX! (term i learnt at camp..)
the next day we had amazing race. we split into 4 teams. our teamname was HAPPY 3 FRIENDS. cos we are group 3. haha. our group got the hyperest people. mostly ARs. to determine the order of the teams to start, we answered some questions according to categories. we ended up second after i answered raffle tickets! (: in the category 'all things raffles' haha.
i had stomach ache in the mrt and cheryl tay one of our group's SPSL-i/cs (yishan was the other i/c) lent me Mr Whale. haha thanks (:
we had a toilet stop (thanks yoo guys!!) and my tummyache disappeared! so we continued. our stops were orchard mrt, changi chapel and museum, and the ulu obstacle course thing.
yeah. after we finished everything we went to eat chicken rice. (: the chinchow i bought tasted like cough medicine so cheryl and yishan drank it up cos they liked it. o-o;
that night we were woken up by carmen at TWO AM to go for a treasure hunt. clue hunt. she was shouting hurryuphurryup!!! and clapping her hands to wake us up. wha lao. everyone was damn pi juan. lame starfish had to stick close together cos evil SPSLs might take one of the group members away. we ended up third cos we were stuck at our last stop even thought we had all our clues because the last clue told us to find a clue at the water cooler in the foyer!!! ><

i left early cos i had to go for church celebration.. haish. but before that kim and i had to do one last good deed hahax so we took 2 styrofoam cups and decorated them and stuck a letter in them. kim's one was veh cute, she stuck a fork in the cup with her letter wedged inside the 4 thingies. whatsit called. prongs?! bleagh. hhaaa

the class chalet was ultra-fun sia!! ok. i came late after training. it was a priddy darn journey to safra NSRCC. met Sandy at the entrance and my mum gave her i/c to the personnel at the entrance and gave Sandy a lift in as well. took some time to find bungalow 19. (: then when we came out of the car the first thing we heard was Geri's shouting and I saw yiwen in her little sleeveless shirt. Haha. Sandy helped me to carry the ice-boxes in. Yay. OK. then went in and yiwen went: oh! my bobo lai le! o-o;; and she called geetha and yeah. I just wanted to eat!! so i put my bags down and went over to the bbq pit. epiphany was there bbqing stuff. wah lau, i was drooling. but my self-sacrificing self took over [martyrdom! (x ] and i started to bbq stuff too. quite fun lah. i started flipping the potato wedges. then dealt with the wings. mm...
ok. soon there was a swap-over, and the people eating inside came out to bbq while epip and i ate our foodeh. then after a long time of eating (5 chicken wings and some hashbrown, LOTS of corn, garlic bread, potato wedges, nuggets, sausage, coke.. (: ) sherie and i finally retired and went upstairs to find so so many people crowded in one of the rooms around 2 beds telling ghost stories. i think i interrupted them. anyway, we sat down to listen. aruna was telling ghost stories. shocking ones. i was freaked outta my skin. yeah. so was everyone else esp. geri, whose screams were the main reason for scaring everyone else. lots of people coming in and out, so we were a tad bit pissified, esp aruna and geet xD
yupyups. then we went down to watch ren wo ao you. whoo! we were like bonded as a class and knew when to awwww and shout at yilin. lol. darn funky. lots of people left ): so ultimately only huiyi, geet, aruna, chris, mel, hil, grace, xinge, wen, geri and me stayed over the first night.
some of us could not sleep to we ended up congregating somewhere. can't remember. anyway, hy, chris, runa, geet and me formed the stayuppers. we planned not to sleep the whole day. anyway now im suffering from a hangover, but thats not the point. continue. initially we planned to stay up playing taboo but we got so tired. TABOO GAME:
the clue was: "when guys forget to do this they get very embarrassed" and xinge, the initially silent one, said "zip!" haha. she must really have experienced it a lot of times eh, ge! -nudge x) ok. next, we got bored so we went upstairs. got our stuff which was in the room geri, mel and hil were sleeping in. then we camped out on the landing. so comfy!!! geri came out of her sleepzone and joined us. the rest of that night we travelled up and down the bungalow and the various rooms cos it was either too hot, too cold, had a cricket on the ceiling, or we were scared of waking up the others. haha. actually we weren't, but they got angry. right mel? x) jjk. so nice!!! yeah. we entertained each other with dirty jokes and slapping each other to keep us awake. i started it cos i saw geetha senilely smiling to herself with her eyes closed so i slapped her. not so hard la. she passed it around. i think i eventually got slapped back by her. owells.
geri went back to sleep again. hy got tired and started to doze off. i gave her 5 minutes at a time to sleep. then after five minutes a started poking and prodding her and geetha kicked her butt. i started kicking her butt. she was so sian that she got some crackers and shared it with us all. thanks hy. (: after some time of slapping each other we decided to retreat into the aircon and camp out at yiwen, grace, and ge's room. chris went to mel, hil and geri's room to check on geri and get some fresh air. it was darn dark, but we soon got adjusted. we watched xinge in her sleep. quite scary. she looked like an anime guy. haha. she also act cool, sleep in dunno-what guyish position. hahax. soon we got bored and went outside. chris was already outside wrapped in the sleeping bag. anyway, for the first night, the beds weren't used at all. everyone was sleeping on the floor. ahah! oh shucks. except geri -.-""
at about 4 plus, we trooped into wen's room and grace was waking up cos she had to leave early. ge and wen woke up soon and engaged in some mother-and-son argument. lols. yeah so we were priddy awake. not for long. soon i was sleepy. everyone was shouting and wreaking havoc in the room. hy threatened to kick my butt so somehow everytime she approached me i sat up immediately. ahha. but yiwen soon told her not to kick her heir's butt. (: heh. so i fell asleep. woke at 8.30. turned out that aruna and most of the stayuppers fell asleep too.
when i woke up, i went down to the living room. we played Big2. Then we played the blanket game where some people sat on the blanket and had other people pull them around the living room. I almost wanted to pull them into the kitchen haha! okay. then hy shared her instant porridge with us! thanks again hy! (: ur the one who always seems to be bringing food. of course, our Home Ec rep mahh.
We went around the place to do stuff. I owe geetha $4. okay. we went to the arcade but it was closed. so we walked all the way outside to the sports centre but the arcade there was closed too. so we went back (haizzzz) to the cafe and ordered food mm... i had chengtng! so refreshing! whoo!
we went to visit the arcade in NSRCC again. it was open! we spent about 20 mins gambling. they sucked up our money! haish. about 25% of the expenditure was retrieved back. but it was fun lah. then we went back to the house, and played more blanket game. and geet arun and wen bet Milo packets for blackjack! lucky i had my milo earlier in the morning. i had 2 wings and 2 garlic breads and 2 breads. haix!! wha lao. i wish i stayed for bnoth nights! I really missed out on a lot la!! STUPID TUITION... make me miss out on stayuppering! arghhh!!!

Phewwie.

during dnite last night, i felt 205's energy.. they were so united.. as one.. but come to think of it, there are still many things that 207 can do to be more together.. we're still separated. as 6 groups, not one class. i feel regret that we didn't do something about it. after this year, i don't think the 207 spirit will last that long. i don't know for sure. we'll just have to wait and see.

Knowing that she will dillydally trying to find them i say Bye Muffin, threatening to lock her out. Then she rushes back to the garden to poo or pee. ok lets continue-
after she pee-ed, she went into the dining room and went to pester her mommy. yeah and she went to watch the other cell group members watch a video on the purpose driven life by rick warren. yeah. i don't think she understood any of it, but i just sat some distance away from her, watching her watch the other people watch the video. pfft. all this while poor muffin was confined to my mums room cos that dumb canine-hater was scared -.-"
yeah and we went upstairs after i stoned for a bit. i showed her the games that were stored in the cupboard that i hadnt touched for about 2 years. she chose monopoly. ok. i thought this would be quite easy cos she seemed to be quite enthu about it. little did i know that:
1. she didn't know the rules.
2. she thought that banks gave out free money.
3. hotels did not need 4 houses before building.
4. she did not know how to count.
5. community chest and chance cards were meant to be used.
6. many more. can't remember.
okay. so we played. and halfway through i landed up in jail. i thought 'hhah!! i am FREEE!! dunneed to playy!' which is quite ironic, since i landed in jail. yeah. and since she didnt know the rules, i thought maybe i could just keep on rolling the die and not get doubles so i'd stay in jail forever. and being a nice girl, Gwyn landed on chhance and she got a get outta jail free card. so she said, i ask the police to let you out. see police so nice. she put the card on the box that says go to jail. ok lahh i admit it was nice of her but i just wasnt in the mood, cos of netball trng for the whole afternoon that day.
okay. so she took the whole bunch of hotels and decided that she became a property agent, and started selling them. and she put 3 hotels in one lot. i kept quiet. you know, when little kids get grumpy they may tell their parents. haha..
ok. that game was the most eventful monopoly game in all the 14 years of my life. orite. oh and. she kept getting hher numbers mixed up and kept paying me the wrong amount. (what do you expect? she only FIVE. pretty ambitious for a fiveyearold to choose such a cheem game as this) after a while i got tired of correcting her and pointing out the right amount to give so i let her pay whatever amount wanted. instead of 320 she gave me 203. strange. i thought she had a bit of brain problems and wanted to tell my dad but i decided my imagination was running wild.
she wanted to poo. 'i want to pass motion. i don't know how. i want mummy.' so she went downstairs and i followed. peace at last. for 5 minutes. sighh. iwalked around and waited in dread for her to finish her business. then we continued the game.
after about 45 minutes i landed on the spot with a hotel. i declared myself bankrupt even though i had tons of property, cos i wanted to stop the silly game. she was surprised and wanted to play another round. i went 'errrr why don't we play something else? do you liek drawing? let me find my marker... whats your favourite animal?' giraffe. gwyn the giraffe. ok so distracting her, i drew a giraffe. she wanted to draw so i showed her the whiteboard. so she startedwriting her full name and chinese name. i wrote mine too. to waste time. then she drew a roadside. she asked me to draw the cars.
then we played computer. i think she spoilt the comm!!! im damn pissed. she kept pressing the keys and caused the computer to make some weird beeping noises. urrgh.
time to go after a loong while. i was relieved. anastasia was overrr!! -.-" i went to play with muffin to relieve myself. watched ROTK vcd to celebrate. haha... slept at 2am.
